16th Street Mall

16th Street Mall – Denver, CO

Accessibility Survey

MTC was selected by ZGF Architects of Portland, Oregon, to conduct a comprehensive accessibility survey of Denver’s 16th Street Mall. The U.S. Access Board has developed proposed guidelines for the public right-of-way. MTC used these guidelines to assess the 16th Street Mall and found that there were still many areas, which were not well defined. This led to extensive consultation, with representatives from the U.S. Access Board, to resolve ambiguities.
